...contacts have any battery acid on them as this will prevent the batteries from working, if this is the case, clean them with REGULAR Coca cola or a generous amount of baking soda and HOT!!!!
too. For me the problem was that the camera was splashed by some coca cola. I had to open the camera detach the knob from the case and clean the knob and case with a damp cloth. Worked fine after that
