rca rt2360 When I power it on it says overload and shut back off more...

then "PROTECT" then shut-down on its own. Thanks for the responds, it could be the power output amplifier. Since I disconnected all the possible overload or short ckts, like the speakers, dvd player, and cassette players section still, the same message on the display. Maybe its time to bring more...
You could possibly have a simple overload on the unit, depending if it is like a HTIB w/speaker outputs or if it just a DVD player. Wires could be crossed. etc. more...

Check the speaker wires going to the back of the unit. Any stray wires that cross can and will cause overloads to the audio output IC's. Make sure the wire strands are twisted tightly and then inserted into the spring clips. more...
