crack in screen Panasonic 42" HD Plasma TV The only solution is to replace the TV. A cracked LCD or plasma screen is usually only good for Art..all the pretty colors around the crack.

Plasma TV with a cracked screen that is 1 week old. I contacted Panasonic and they told me to not bother getting it fixed as the panels cost more than the set is worth. Is this really the only option?
