I plugged it in and all seemd fine EXCEPT the pictures have blue streaks ,especially the words and most images seem to be in "double "
I do not want to invest any money into fixing it more...

Sounds like you have a couple of problems here. The double image would be convergence but that should not cause a no try and tackle it yourself I would need to see some pictures of the fluid on the board. Not many techs are qualified more...
