keeps cutting out. I have made sure that the amp is ventilated and the speaker wires are securely plugged in. Not sure what else it could be. When it cuts out i have to turn it off and turn it back on

stereo turns off when volume is turned up the receiver has a built in cut off. if you over work the amp inside it will shut off. try keeping the volume down a little bit
