Dell Inspiron 546 MT Desktop Computer  "light right hand side keyboard" Questions

light is on in the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard(not sure if this is normal). Will power my usb wireless adapter but not my moose, keyboard. They work fine in other computers. any ideas?
