I think you got it david .. check voltage to the motor at low and high.. if voltage is good.. them it must be the motor...let me know more...

you must get someone who understands electrical problems to look at it as this light is at full mains voltage, if the wires are burned then they must be replaced with ones that are silicon covered because of the heat and if a connector more...

not to touch other wires! Even with the unit disconnected from power, if you happen to have a bad bleeder resister in the high voltage capacitor you can still get a nasty zap ! more...

make sure you have selected convect bake, otherwise remove oven from wall to acces the back and test voltage at the fan, most likely the fan is bad, if you use conv. bake alot more...
