Sonic RecordNow! Deluxe Suite 7.3 (SNC1020E) for PC "hal dll error" Questions

I get a system32 hal.dll error and have a sonic delux backup on an external HD but nothing happens when I plug it in and try to restart uninstall that software and reinstall it once again
