does and still not draining, the valve must have been clogged up with hair and tread and other dirt from washing. It just need cleaning. Follow the hose that goes to the drain valve. Easy work...going under is more difficult. Good Luck. more...

front comes off may want to remove rear panel to allow more light in remove hoses and wires pump twist locks into base ..try cleaning pump first lint/nails /coins may have impeller blocked or lines plugged more...
