look behind dryer is vent hose flattened to verify remove hose from dryer and try a load may get warm and some lint but this will resolve vent issue ..also if that is ge electric dryer element is double strung and 1 string may be burned more...

a second hand unit which had the same problem. I removed the back (philips head srewdriver and 1/4 in socket) and vacuumed all the lint from around the motor, and the vent at the back. The motor drops our easily for cleaning (1 screw). Make sure the belt tensioner more...
on rhs looking from back and you will see a chamber with a microswitch on top. either micrswitch is stuck, pump faulty or a lint blockage more...
clothes are completely dry. The heat comes on, so the electronic pilot is working, as is the gas. We checked the vent for lint build up and had none. Any other suggestions?

upper limit switch being triggered, need to check lint in the exhaust line, seems over heating, not much air is flowing thru the heating coils, upper limit switch is resseting by itself. needs more...
