Hancock Clock from a car

I have a clock that my father put in a small sports car that he built in the early 1950's. I am tryng to restore the car and the clock is not working.Do you think there is something that could be done with it? The face of the clock is about 4-5 inches across. The depth of the clock is about 6-7 inches deep.
