First of all, is it a gas or an electric range? I am assuming that you have an digital clock/control unit. Top burners on both gas and electric ranges will work fine without the clock, because they are directly controlled by switches or valves that are basically immune to power surges frequently associated with power outages. However, the oven is a different story as it will not work if the digital clock/control unit is not operating. If it is a relatively new range, it might be worth replacing the clock/control unit. If not, consider purchasing a new range as these units are not cheap. Neither is in home service labor. You also might consider filing a claim with your local utility.
