Question for TV Repair Techs
problems with my tv.

I have a problem with my tv olevia syntax modellt27hvs.the problem is that I can only see half of the screen and the other half there are only lines lots of them horisontal lines. is that dificult to fix?

there is a magnetic field inside every tv, the problem with yours might be that the electrons are getting deflected only on half of the screen.and it can not figure out the picture to be displayed in the other half.

I dont think that is a difficult one. The fault lies around the vertical section of the Television.First check for leaky capacitors around the the vertical stage starting with the capacitor that amplifiers the ramp signal before it gets to Deflection coil and also check for open circuit O/C high value Resistors at the vertical stage..I believe this might help......................
