Make sure the microwave is unplugged.

You should have some kind of panel on the top front of the microwave. There are typically 4-6 wood screw along the top edge. If you can have an assistant, remove all but 2 then have the assistant support the unit while removing the last 2.

Once the unit is free on the front, you should lift up on the rear to detach from the rear support plate.

Typically, the biggest challenge is getting the cover plate off without damaging the unit or the cabinetry that it is under.

SOURCE: G Fi problem on a Coachman Aurora motor home.

Do you mean GFI ? as in electrical plug ? If so, on the plug there is a "line" side for the white and line side for the black.... there is also a "load" side for white and a load side for black. You will have to determine which wires are load and which are line. The "line" side is your "hot wire" and the load side is for down stream plugs or appliances. Dis connect all wires from the plug. "Then" turn the electrical system is on and use a meter to see what wire are hot and which ones are not. The Hot wire black and matching white will go onto the "line" side of the plug. the other black and white will go onto the "load" side of the plug. That should do it :)

Who makes the roof on a 1998 Georgie Boy Pursuit, what type of rubber, and how long is it expected to last

Hello, Tom -

Apparently Coachman purchased Georgie Boy Manufacturing in 1995.

I checked the Coachman website
(home page: http://www.coachmenrv.com/ )
and found no mention of Georgie Boy motorhomes.)

You should still contact Coachman directly and ask about the Georgie Boy 1998 Pursuit, in hopes the company has information in its archives. This is the link to the Contact Us page for Coachman:
http://www.coachmenrv.com/ContactUs.aspx
There is a form on that page which you can fill out to send an email.

Another option would be to join an RV discussion forum where others who may be knowledgeable may be able to provide the information you seek. I found The RV Forum:
http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=b036ca2a13c5cb2052b8ff2397774927&

You will need to register (free) before posting any question in the Motorhomes category.

Best wishes.

2008 coachman SoA 29rks exterior slide. Right above the slideout is a metal rail that has torn the fiberglass side wall. What is this rail for? Not the roof gutter, but right below that.

Without a photo, this is just a guess. Could it be the rail to hook a slide topper on that perhaps a previous owner removed? Perhaps the slide topper roller caught on something, tore the fiberglass, and so the topper was removed. You need to be sure the torn fiberglass is repaired, any water that enters that spot could cause much damage.

2006 Coachman Coach Batteries wont hold a charge. After motor runs it builds back up but slowly goes down.

First have the batteries tested with a special tool call a load meter. Then if they check ok you need to run a parasitic battery draw/drain test to see if something is being left on like a light in the coach. Follow the link for instructions on testing for this problem. I HAVE A 2008 COACHMAN SPIRIT OF AMERICA 29RKS. IM HAVING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. THE MICROWAVE WORKS AND SOME POWER OUTLETS IN THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM WORK. THE LIGHTS, AND SUPERSLIDE DO NOT WORK.

Lights and slide are 12 volts ... check your battery ... and your battery charger ... DO NOT TRY TO OPERATE your trailer on a dead or battery-less unit. You need a good battery for things to work properly ... deep cycle not automotive.

Good luck with our repair.
