How to drain fresh water tank on a 1996 coachman catilina motor home

Open the fresh water tank dump valve and let the water drain out. Open the low-point drain plug or valve. There should be one for both the hot and cold water lines. Flush the toilet until water stops flowing.

Lost 120 volts on coachmen Somerset dreamcatcher 32.5 while hooked up to power pole. still have 12 volts.all converter fuses and power panel circuit breakers good. Power from pole is good.

First, I'm not a Coachmen RV Tech. (but most DC to AC inverters are not brand specific.)
* Check inverter fuse (on actual inverter frame). Replace.
* Check DC voltage at inverter. Should be 12 (or 24 VDC) depending on your system battery supply and inverter.
* Check the DC cable connections; crusty, dirty? Cut all power. Remove and clean terminals. Re-connect and check.
* DC okay? Check 110 VAC power at output of inverter. No power? Replace inverter. (possible power spike damaged it or it over heated)
* 110 VAC okay? Check the power panel breakers. If stuck in middle then turn all the way off to reset and turn all the way back on to activate. Check AC power at outlet(s)
* Still no power (at outlet)? Check all outlets. If some still works then there is a problem with the power (wires) distribution. You will need an electrician to trace the wires back to the break in circuit.
* Be safe. check your warranty and call for service.
* Note; your inverter may be on a separate warranty.

What could be my problems if my battery was week but when I jump start it on my rv the lights worked but the 120 volt wouldn't

the 120 volt works of an inverter that takes a strong battery for it to work
jump starting is only 12 volts and that is expanded to 120 volts by the inverter
jump starting could also damaged the inverter with a power surge from connecting and disconnecting the jumper battery
Fit a new battery or have the old one load tested to ensure that the battery is failing
have the inverter tested for operation
could be a simple fuse in the inverter

We have electricity to operate the microwave and plugs but the lights are operating off of the batteries. Is this a converter problem? If so is it a fuse on the converter? Doesn't appear the aux...

The microwave and outlets are on a 115-120vAC source running through the breakers box. The lights are 12vDC running through the converter then to the fuse panel. Locate the inverter in the compartments up front, possibly behind a panel that can slide or screws to hold the panel. Depending on the Mfr if the inverter, you should see a blade style buss fuse on the side, typically near the 12vDC output. Use a multimeter to check for the 120vAC input and 12vDC output. AC power-yes and DC power-no, check the fuse, replace if necessary. If the fuse is good, the inverter has blown and needs to be replaced. If you have AC & DC power on the inverter, go to the batteries and check for voltage without the inverter supplying power. Pull the fuse off the inverter or switch the battery disconnect switch. If the batteries have little to no voltage, cells may be dead. Take the batteries to a local auto parts store to get checked to see if the battery needs a charge or replacement.

My coach battery isn't transferring voltage to the coach. It has a TS30 Power switch and an inverter. It is a Class C 1999 Jayco Eagle. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Check the fuse panels. If you are not hearing the "clunk" when you cycle the power switch on and off then it's probably a blown 10A fuse for the battery power solenoids.

Battery/elecrtic

You might unhook the battery and with the camper plugged in to shore power the 12v lights should work. If not check the breaker that goes to the inverter. If that is not tripped then check the power output at the converter. I would expect the inverter is shot. I replaced the one on my Jaco two years ago with (Progressive Dynamics 60 Amp Power Converter with Charge Wizard and the remote pendant)
