I have a 2015 forest river v cross and the slideout squeals when extends and retracts. It's an electric screw jack. Is this normal?

I need operating manual for 2014 forest river sandpiper 35rok

From what I can find Forest River didn't have specific owner manuals before 2015. Your best bet would be to get the 2015 manual which is on their website. There are usually very few differences between model years anyway. Here's the link

We have 2016 Salem by Forest River pull camper. The two slide outs and hydronic.jacks will not go in. Have checked all fuses even 12V50 amp on frame. Any ideas?

Find the motor and valve assembly. Use a meter to check voltage at the motor when you push control button. The motor runs to make hydraulic pressure anytime any button is pushed, slide or level control. If motor is not running you can go to,
and retract all with 1/8 hex wrench and drill.

Where is fuse/circuit breaker box on Forest River XLR Nitro 31 FQSL. Have power but slide outs don't work. and can't get inside living room/kitchen.

RV's often put fuses in strange places. I have a forest river but not this model. Check the inside fuse panel first. If you do not see any blown fuses there, check underneath the trailer for an inline fuse. I would call Forest River and/or your dealer if it isn't in one of those two spots.

Repair slide <living room is extended and won`t return>

Check to ensure nothing is blocking the slideout, its path or the gears of the motor. If you don't see a dimming of the lights when you push the retraction button or don't hear any motor noise check the fuse for the slideout motor. If all else fails there should be a manual slide retraction option somewhere that allows you to retract the slideout using a crank or a power drill. Check the owner's manual.

Forest river owners manual

Are you looking for an owners manual or for specific information? You can contact Forest River and request an owners manual but the information is vague at best when it comes to the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. Each component, i.e., refrigerator, furnace, water heater, a/c, etc. will have its own owners manual provided by the manufacturer of the said component.

Slideouts will not move

Hydraulic or electric slide system? If electric, could be a low voltage problem or failed inline circuit breaker. Also, do not try to move more than one slide at a time because it will blow the fuse. If hydraulic, make sure the bypass valves have not been opened. Do not add fluid while the slide are out. If you do, when the slide come back in they will force the excess fluid out of the reservoir and make a huge mess in the storage compartment.
