What info are you looking for? Most RV owner's manuals are very generic and many other makes, model, manuals will give the same info. Do a survey of your RV and note make and model of every installed system. Spend time on Google looking each item up, you'll find owner and service manuals, troubleshooting info, etc.
You can switch it out but pretty labor intensive. You cannot just add a gas option to the unit. You will have to replace it with a gas heater and then plumb it to the tanks. The existing unit probably has something simple like a safety sensor that went bad or a heating coil.
