What voltage should the XM 1800, MSW, w/Xfer 1800 watt, Item #0245925 be putting out to ensure the batteries stay charged? The remote unit in the motor coach only displays 11.8 volts now when it usual

Made sure the circuit breaker in the coach was not tripped. I belleive ther is a circuit breaker on the inverter which is a button, but it is very loose and will not remain in the in position. If it is the circuit breaker in the inverter, is it replaceable or will the inverter itself need to be replaced

13.8 volts need to be applied to the batteries to charge them. The loose button you refer to is the circuit breaker for the inverter. when it trips it pops out and is not loose any more.

I'm charging my battery on my rv new. Artery but it was ran down because my break switch was bad and the light stayed on my new cen-tech charger light stays green and I hear a clicking

Disconnect any wiring to the battery. Connect only the charger. Insure you have the charger connected to the proper polarity.

Does it continue to click? Does it not charge? If it won't charge for you, pull the battery and take it to a friendly service station or auto parts store that can test, and or charge it for you. It could be you discharged the battery all the way and damaged it. The normal safe zone is to never discharge below 50%. They might have to attempt a charge that takes up to 45 minutes. If the battery is over a couple years old I would opt to just replace it. I would never trust it and end up getting stranded somewhere.

Installed all new batteries but jacks wont come down says low voltage 2008 fleetwood excursion 39r

Like mentioned, I would check that the charging system is working. You said "Batteries", so I assume the RV has a diesel and there are two batteries.... Assuming the engine cranks okay, the charging system is operating properly.... I would check the connections and cables that feed power to the jacks. May well be loose connections, frayed cable or something that is hindering the flow of power to the jack motors.

I have a 2011 starcraft autumn ridge 197FBH....the AC unit just stopped working out of the blue. now we cant get it to run again.does anyone know how many watts the AC uses? or any ideas we can try..

question is hazy as to what you want ill assume its not working check the breaker, fuses and relays to unit and power to compressor if you have power to compressor and still not running can assume compressor is done ---as to watts when you remove the cover to the unit the name plate will have all the information on it i couldnt tell you because units have all different options including different a/c systems

How can I Troubleshoot wfco 8955 power converter on my 2006 Rockwood travel trailer?

If you have input voltage 110 volts. On the white and black wires. No output voltage at the red and white wires. It's garbage there's nothing serviceable on the unit.

Convertor will not charge the batteries and I can not find a reset or fuse for the convertor. There is a breaker for it but that is not the problem

If there is not a thermal overload reset on the convertor then it is an automatic reset built into the unit. When the convertor overloads and kicks off, it usually means that either something on the circuit has shorted out causing it to trip or you overloaded the convertor drawing too much power. Either way, if the convertor hasn't reset itself after a cool down period then more than likely, you convertor went bad and will need to be replaced.

Where is the battery shut off switch on a 2014 wildwood 26tbss

Not usually on a towable. Most install disconnect at battery if at all. As long as unit is plugged in, battery should be charging.

What is the problem, my Storm is plugged into the power supply and everything does not work until I start it up. When I turn it off, the lights and everything else works for a little while then sarts to...

There may be a number of reasons for this. If you are running an air conditioner, the compressor could be stuck or going bad and dropping the voltage. Also, there could be a problem with the refrigerator compressor. If you have a battery bank, there could be a problem with the charging system for the batteries. Try eliminating the frig and the air conditioner first. Then check the battery bank to see if the batteries have a short. The charging system itself could be causing the drop in voltage also. Only by checking one thing at a time will you solve this problem. I have seen people use a power cord that is too light duty and this can cause the same problem.

Co detector keeps beeping

Hi. Check your battery charge level. Some co detectors are designed to alert you to low battery levels. Do you have it hooked to the house bank or does it have it's own battery? Sometime the unit itself is defective.
