Cannot get tv to work with outside connection. Both inside connection work. What is the problem.

When replacing the end, were you careful not to ground the internal and external wires or shielding? If you cut the end off, does the outside port start working again? If so, then your internal "rewired" part is grounded.

Usually built into the outside water connection or at the inlet side of the water pump.

You should be able to see the pilot light when it is dark outside. Even when it is not dark outside, you can probably see it if you peer inside, but you should also be able to hear it if you are in a quiet area. You can find the pilot light by looking at the heater and identifying the gas pipes: they are typically a little corroded and have valves on them. Just follow the gas pipe into the murky depths of the heater and look around for the blue flame. Sometimes you'll see a thin-diameter tube branch off and run in tandem with the main pipe: this conveys gas to the pilot light. Finally, you might have to open a little aluminum cover and peer inside. If you don't see a flame, you can probably identify about where it ought to be because you will see the main burners. Of course, the pilot light should be right next to the main burners and if you don't see/hear/feel heat there, your pilot is out.

Make sure antennae booster is turned off.

Are you connection to the satellite input on the outside of the coach or the park cable input? If you are connecting to the park cable input it will not work since that wire is connected to a booster/splitter. Try running the wire through the window directly from the dish to the receiver. If that works then you need to install a dedicated satellite connection from the outside to the inside or purchase a flatwire to run through the window. If it does not work then the issue is in your satellite settings.

If you have been in a cold climate, there may be a possibility the water pump has frozen up and cracked. Open the lower vent cover outside for the fridge (about 14"x18") with a few long horizontal air vents in the middle. Use a coin to rotate the tabs from the two upper corner and remove cover. Locate the water line coming into the pump. If you see water in the immediate area, it may be leaking but dry the area up and have someone inside help you by filing a cup with water from the dispenser on the fridge door. If it has cracked, you will see the water start running out. It will also less when the ice maker is filling the tray. These units are plastic and cannot be fixed do you need to get it replaced. Before trying to remove the pump to take it to an RV dealer, make sure you turn off the water supply to the fridge. Most units will have a valve connected by a "T" at the cold water supply going to the kitchen sink

There should be an outside port labeled satellite and another labeled cable. If the cable you are speaking of is connected to the inside power booster it will not work for satellite. You will need to run a dedicated RG6 cable from outside to the location of your receiver.

There should be a series of buttons marked A. B and C. A is for the living room, B is usually for the bedroom and C is outside. If it is a carstereo type system you will need to go into the setup mode where you will find the balance and fade. Balance left and right to see if it turns off the outside. If is does not then fade front or back and see if it turns it off.

I don't want to sound condescending but you will not receive anything unless an antenna or an outside cable source is connected to the cable input. I have seen this and have had this question before. Some people actually believe if there is a cable connection there is reception. Kinda like the old "I still have checks in my check book, what do you mean I don't have any money."
