Not usually on a towable. Most install disconnect at battery if at all. As long as unit is plugged in, battery should be charging.

What kind a battery need a wildwood 2005 31 qbss

The battery (or batteries) would be similar to automotive batteries. Best thing to do is remove the battery you have and take it to an automotive store to get a direct replacement. The features of the batteries vary, just like automotives, and the type of posts/connector needs to be the same to make it easy to reconnect to your camper. Take your battery to the auto store to have them check it first before you spend money to replace. Many times, it may need a charge, rather than a replacement. If you do have to replace, make sure you get a marine deep cell battery. They do run a bit more but for what they are used for, much more suitable and a better life.

Replaced coach batteries and still not working

There is a relay that operates when you hook up to shore power that switches from battery power to converter power. It also charges the batteries. If you do not have battery power then suspect a faulty relay. It is located inside the power converter.

2014 crossroads rv battery operations will not work battery is sound

Preston, You may have a battery disconnect on your Crossroads. Look for a round red rotating type switch usually near the batteries. Trace the positive lead from your batteries to look for it. It is possible that it is located inside on a control panel. Check to see if it is in the on (or both) position. Do you have any 12V lights when you are plugged into shore power?

Avalanche 360RB, battery not charging. New battery installed same problem.

Assuming alternator is good:
Fusible link blown (usually located close to coach battery compartment),
switch not turned on for coach power (some models),
dirty cable ends,
charging relay/solenoid not energizing (check for corrosion and tightness before replacing solenoid),
broken/cut wire,
corroded connections in charging system,
wiring loose, deteriorated or open circuits.
