Not usually on a towable. Most install disconnect at battery if at all. As long as unit is plugged in, battery should be charging.

Replaced coach batteries and still not working

There is a relay that operates when you hook up to shore power that switches from battery power to converter power. It also charges the batteries. If you do not have battery power then suspect a faulty relay. It is located inside the power converter.

2014 crossroads rv battery operations will not work battery is sound

Preston, You may have a battery disconnect on your Crossroads. Look for a round red rotating type switch usually near the batteries. Trace the positive lead from your batteries to look for it. It is possible that it is located inside on a control panel. Check to see if it is in the on (or both) position. Do you have any 12V lights when you are plugged into shore power?

Avalanche 360RB, battery not charging. New battery installed same problem.

Assuming alternator is good:
Fusible link blown (usually located close to coach battery compartment),
switch not turned on for coach power (some models),
dirty cable ends,
charging relay/solenoid not energizing (check for corrosion and tightness before replacing solenoid),
broken/cut wire,
corroded connections in charging system,
wiring loose, deteriorated or open circuits.

Here is the another. Not the same as above.

My assessment will be the automated transfer switch is not working. If the battery pack is below specified charged levels. The system has a protection circuit not to allow the transfer from the grid to isolation switch. When the charge is achieved to satisfactory levels. Then it will function.

It is possible you may have a shorted cell in one of the batteries preventing the charge to be successful. I would observe the water levels in each battery and every cell. When full there is a mirror like image in each cell designed to indicate the level. A run down battery will have very low levels at either end of it. The hydrometer is the best way to see specific gravity. When found then isolated you can remove from the series.

A blown fuse or tripped breaker protects the downstream equipment and the power control board.

There should be a shop manual somewhere in the RV. Customer service is available at the links offered. Fare. well.

If this is a 5th wheel, two sneaky places manufacturers have been known to put them is either under the tread of the step going to the bedroom or look behind the bedroom door.
