Preston, You may have a battery disconnect on your Crossroads. Look for a round red rotating type switch usually near the batteries. Trace the positive lead from your batteries to look for it. It is possible that it is located inside on a control panel. Check to see if it is in the on (or both) position. Do you have any 12V lights when you are plugged into shore power?
I truly hate to state the obvious, and please forgive me for doing so, but HAVE YOU VERIFIED THAT THE LIGHT BULB IS GOOD? There is really VERY LITTLE to the lighting circuit!
Make sure the winterizing valve for the pump is not open. Locate the pump. On the input side of the pump there may be a valve in that line with a line coming from the tank and the other line laying loose not connected to anything. Turn that valve to close the open ended line which will then allow it to draw out of the fresh water tank. This would also raise a serious question as to how well the trailer was inspected during the pre-delivery inspection process...
Does unit use water ONLY from pump? If so, make sure pump is actually running by feeling the pump. Is it emitting a small vibration? That is normal and probably means pump motor is running normally. If pump housing is excessively hot, pump may be locked up. If all appears normal and still no water, most likely culprit is broken impeller inside pump "Wet End" housing. Try disconnecting INLET hose to pump and check for presence of water. If none, pump is not your issue, your tank is dry. Also check pump OUTLET (pump off) for water. Disconnect hose, switch pump on momentarily. If pump discharges water here, you have a crimped or stopped up line or possibly a stopped up filter, if so equipped.
The refrigerator requires at least 11.5v to continue operation. If your battery is not fully charged before starting your trip the tow vehicle may not be able to maintain the proper charge. Also, make sure that you do not have any lights or 12v appliances other than the refrigerator on while the vehicle is being towed. And, lastly, verify that the tow vehicle is in fact charging the battery as it should be.
