Remove the old element. Take note of the water heater make and model, i.e. Suburban SW6DE or Atwood GC6AA. You can find the replacement at your local RV parts department. I have even seen them at Lowe's. Or you can buy one online.

I need a manual for a 2006 fleetwood morgan travel trailer

On the out side of your rv, there should be a metal hinged panel that you open up to get to the backside of the water heater. usually about 16 in by 16 inches. On the inside it is usually under a sink, or bench you will have to figure it out from the outside first and you will know the general location on the inside.

Why does my water heater keep turning off on my 26bb avenger travel trailer?

your igniter might need to be cleaned. check it and see if there is build up on it. also if you have a volt meter. check voltage. as long as there is at least 10.5 volts to it. thats ok. need more info. it could be the board. but seems like a voltage problem

Refrigerator stop working 2006 fema trailer slideout

Does the refrigerator work on propane and not while plugged into shore electricity?

If so, the electric heating element (most likely) or something in the control system has fiailed. I presume switches on the refrigerator are in the correct position "auto".

Heating element can be easily checked with an ohm meter (power to the unit OFF) but replacement can be tedious.

After this many days, unlikely you have not solved the problem.

First time owner. Have tankless water heater. How do I de-winterize the RV?

De winterizing is easy. They use a pink antifreeze which is food grade. Make surer the water heater is not by-passed. This is sometimes done using furnished bypass valves so that less antifreeze is needed. You can flip the water heater pressure release after connecting to city water. Water will come out if it is full. Do NOT turn on the water heater until you are certain the tank is full of water so as not to burn out the element. (This is true every time you set up) Run all faucets until you no longer see pink and you are de winterized.

TRYING TO RUN HOT WATER HEATER ON ELECTRICITY

If it is a Suburban water heater you will need to make sure that the power switch is on. It is located outside on the lower left of the actual water heater. Once that is turned on, make sure the breaker is on. If you do not have hot water after that it is possible that either the ECO is bad or the element is bad. If it is Atwood water heater there should be two switches inside the coach, one for LP and the other for electric.

Water heater keeps kick off electrical breaker

Sounds like the element in the tank is shorting to ground thru the water in the tank. Disconnect power, the remove cables from element connection and protect them from contacting anything. Turn on breaker again. If it does not trip replace element or entire tank. If it continues to trip it's somewhere in the harness or a bad breaker.
