That's not the actual model #. Check inside cover for proper model # . Should be GC6.... or similar

Most of the time it's a "bad" ground on the electrode. The actual piece that sparks. remove electrode reattach electrode make sure when it fires electrode is 100% engulfed inside the flame. If this doesn't solve your problem have the main board tested before you just buy a new one. yes they can test the board at a dealership. I do it for free in Our shop but you have to ask. not just demand parts lol

1997 Wildwood fifth 29' fifth wheel owners manual

An RV owner's manual wouldn't provide help with your issue. If you look for the make and model of your water heater, you'll find operating and service manuals. Your water heater has it's connections on the back of the tank, unless you can access from beneath or behind step one might be to remove the water heater.

No manual for Keystone Cougar 2013 330RBK ~ not sure how to winterize.

There should be plugs underneath the camper to drain the water tanks. Remove them and let the water drain. There should also be a plug on the water heater, remove and let water drain. There is also a bypass valve on the water heater to divert water away from the heater, turn this to bypass. After the water has drained replace the plugs except the water heater plug. The heater plug can stay out. Fill fresh water tank with RV antifreeze, usually about 3 gallons or maybe a little more for larger RVs. Run pump opening faucets one by one till water is forced out and the antifreeze flows including toilet. When antifreeze is flowing out the faucets close faucets and shut off pump. When pump is shut off open faucets, the antifreeze may get slushy in very cold conditions but wont freeze and a little may drip out of the faucets. The water heater may still have a small amount of water in it but shouldn't be a problem if you leave the plug out. Make sure the blackwater and greywater tanks are empty, you can dump a little antifreeze down the drains and toilet to make sure the sink traps are free from water and the blackwater tank has antifreeze in it. Other than that just shut the propane tanks off and youre done. Try to leave a couple of windows cracked slightly to promote airflow and reduce condensation inside the camper

Can you get water in LP lines when filling RV w/ propane? Frig quit on propane, worked on electric. Had filled w/ propane two days earlier. mechanic found oily water in line; range still worked.

Yes water can do compensation build up in your propane tank. Some tanks have a drain pit on bottom reclaim propane and open the pit. If your does reclaim the propane and drain tank. If not reclaim propane and remove tank then remove filler valve turn tank over drain access water leave tank up side down over night. Put fill valve back on and mount tank. After lines are back on turn stove on leave on for 48 hours. Turn valves off and refill tank. Best of luck.

How to turn on water heater

This might not be much help, without more details, but there should be a valve inside the water heater panel (outside) you can open. Open the valve at the main propane tank also.

Make sure the water tank is FULL before you fire it up. There should be a switch inside the coach somewhere to turn it on.

If it doesn't ignite immediately, you probably have air in the lines. Light the stove and let it burn for a minute, then try the hot water tank again. Might take a few tries to get it fired up.

Where do I find hot water bypass valve on a 1988 ford econoline rv

Todd, hot water by-pass valves are usually installed behind the water heater. There are probably 3 valves that need to be operated.
1. - Close the cold water valve TO the water heater.
2. - Close the hot water valve FROM the water heater.
3. - Open the by-pass valve. It's the one between the other two.

How do I switch my hot water from propane to electric?

If the water heater is dual fuel (elec/LP) and it is manufactured by Suburban you will need to go outside to the access door of the water heater. Once you have opened the access door to the lower left below and behind the gas valve/burner tube you will see a small black switch labeled on/off. Switch that to on for electric operation. and then you may turn off the LP switch located inside the unit. If it is an Atwood then inside the unit you should have a switch panel with two switches, one for LP and the other for electric. The panel may be by itself or the switches may be located on your tank level monitor panel.

Water heater elements for 2006 conquest trailer

Remove the old element. Take note of the water heater make and model, i.e. Suburban SW6DE or Atwood GC6AA. You can find the replacement at your local RV parts department. I have even seen them at Lowe's. Or you can buy one online.

TRYING TO RUN HOT WATER HEATER ON ELECTRICITY

If it is a Suburban water heater you will need to make sure that the power switch is on. It is located outside on the lower left of the actual water heater. Once that is turned on, make sure the breaker is on. If you do not have hot water after that it is possible that either the ECO is bad or the element is bad. If it is Atwood water heater there should be two switches inside the coach, one for LP and the other for electric.

Electronic ignition hot water heater (6gal) lights but wont get water hot. The red light inside my RV goes off and back on after about 3 minutes. When I checked the unit outside, the pilot is lt, but not...

check to see if setiment has settled on the pilot....blow it out with air if it has. This issue comes up often with water heaters and rv refers. If that is not the problem and the pilot remains lit, but never increases when the thermostat is turned up, you probably need a new gas valve/thermostat.
