Location for the slide out motor on a Forest River 28ft. RV

Hello, Tom.
seems to have multiple issues with your RV. Depending on the model and type of RV you have, the location and number of motors will vary. If you have a way to look up from under the unit with the covers removed, it may be visible within the framing of the coach, however, if the slide is on an upper area, like the front of a 5th wheel, you may have to remove a panel or interior siding/trim to access. The unit should have a manual wrench, of sorts, to open and close if you lose power or the motor quits working. Look up Forrest River online and you should be able to get more information or specs from the Mfr.

Our plug in beside the sink in our 2012 fun finder not reset. also effects the bathroom plug.

The plug-in should be a GFCI unit (Ground fault circuit interrupt). If the unit will not reset there is either a short in your wiring, possibly a wire came lose, or the GFCI unit is defective. Unless you are familiar with electrical wiring, this is a repair that should be done by an electrician.

Find another dealer...those guys are f***tards! That slide should be level and even when in OR out. Bent slide mechanism, mal-adjusted runners maybe. Have it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.

Water can leak in FAR from where you see the damage. It runs downhill finding a low spot to settle. I would re-caulk the whole RV, paying special attention to the roof. Spend the money on roof sealer if you have to. Silicone tube caulk is a temporary fix. To be done right, you disassemble joints/panels and use the ribbon/string caulk. More work but should last at least 5 years.

Sooner or later they ALL will spring a leak. Keeping up on inspection and re-sealing regularly will minimize the damage.

Slide outs won't come in

#1 is make sure the RV is FOUR WAY LEVEL before attempting. Check for obstructions at the glide points and also INSIDE the RV. A toy on the floor can stop the slide-in. Those apply whether slider is manual or electric. IF it's electric, first thing to check is the fuse for the slider circuit.

No ac power going to my a/c unit

Have you checked for a fuse blown? Behind a panel near your converter, you will hear it run when connected to outside power, find your fuse panel and check to see if one to the AC has blown. they are just like the fuses in your pick up or car.

I cannot find the circuit breaker in my 2012 Fun Finder X244 RV. Can you tell me where it is located in my trailer?

I have a Okanagan camper. Mine is below the oven behind a removable panel. It should be close to your AC cable where you plug in.
