Wiring problem A White/Black wire is laying loose in the circuit control box. There is also a solid green that has a wire cap on it only. Im not sure if the 12v lights over the front bed work. The center hall lights work but they are White/Yellow

You best to go to a trailer service center
for the answers or a wiring diagram, if such
a thing exists.

My double wide winnter trailer has this issue where last time 1 light switch killed half the house we got that fixed and all was great until now same half the house dead again but switch is fine this

you have an open wire between the section that is dead and the breaker panel. the first place to check would be the breaker panel - to ensure that all the (hot- black) live wires are solidly connected (screw on breaker is tight on the black wires), and that each of the screws on the white wires (neutral) are tight.
recommend that if you have no experience with hot wiring, you pay someone who does to do this, as there is some risk of electrical shock and possible ***** - to anyone not trained. A shorted hot wire will result in 'smoke' and electrical sparks - thus the problem is: you have an open circuit.

after removing the power panel cover and exposing the white wires and connecting wires to the circuit breakers, that you 'probe' - (touch) each of the white wires to see if it moves where the end connects to a screw terminal strip. If one moves, push it into the hole and tighten the screw without touching other metal while doing that.

the same check can be done on the wires connected to each circuit breaker - HOWEVER - those are 'hot' and you could inadvertently short out the circuit THROUGH YOUR BODY. be very careful doing this.

If you find a loose wire, and tighten it - that likely will fix your problem.

Seriously recommend you get a trained electrician to troubleshoot it if you have never worked with electricity before........

best regards,

Bruce

25 ft 2004 komfort trailblazer travel trailer. Bumper pull. I have no power to any wall plugs. Changed GFI plug in bathroom. Keeps popping rite away. How do I find and solve this short?

it is a dead short in the wiring
if the plug is anything other than 12 volts -call an accredited electrician
just because it is a trailer doesn't mean that the voltage will not do serious damage top your health

1973 prowler trailer wire diagram to house plug

Dear Kao,
Get an electric meter ( such as a volt-ohm meter or a multi-meter) to be sure you do not make an error.
You should have 3 wires, each with a different colored insulation. The black one is HOT.
That is hooked to the smallest straight lug of the plug socket you will find in your house.
The white wire is ground, which goes to the larger straight lug of the plug socket in your home.
If you have a 3 holed wall socket, the green wire goes to the ground, which is the lower (round) lug on the plug.
God bless your efforts.

What wires coming from the theromstat conect to which wires coming out of the wall

suggest this: hire a technician to fix it for you. you would need the wiring diagram for the thermostat and to find which wires go where in the wall.

this is a task that is normally beyond the ability of an owner. It requires some technical knowledge of thermostat wiring, as well as using a voltmeter.

you might post an ad to locate another owner of your model RV, then ask them to pull the thermostat off the wall and take some pictures to send to you - showing the wiring connected.

My S&S camper is generator prewired white, brown, yellow, green wires, my Onan 2500 LP has Blue, Red, Brown, Green, Orange, what do I connect what to???

White Brown green and yellow are normally The 12 volt vehicle lighting colors, not 110 volt power. Generators do not have FIVE wires for the power wires out of your generator. Is this the remote control circuit? If so, I dont have a clue!

Location of converter

The converter is incorporated with the fuse/breaker box. Remove the cover of the breaker box and the converter should be in the lower portion. You will have a small gauge black, white and green wire that will be routed into the breaker (110vac) side and two heavy gauge wires; red and white, that will be routed into the fuse panel (12vdc) side. Once disconnected there should be one or two small screws holding the converter in place. Remove them and slide the converter out.

2011 fourwinds travel trailer wiring

The slides and power awning use inline circuit breakers due to the higher amp draw. These circuit breakers are typically located near the front of the unit. Sometimes in the storage compartment, on the inside of the tongue, behind the front cross member... Follow the positive battery cable back until you fond a series of rectangle boxes (small with a wire connected to each end). Some of these circuit breakers are automatic reset, others have a small black button on the side that will need to be pushed back in. You may also need to ensure that all of the terminal nuts are tight.
