1995 terry camper electric slide out doesn't move can you move it manually?

Yes, all campers with slide outs have a way to manually crank the slide in/out in case of motor or electrical failure. The fun part is figuring out where exactly the place to insert the tool, if you have it. Larger slides with rails typically are brave to the main frame under the slide out whereas the smaller type (bed) would be under the bed and the false floor for protection.

How do I manually close the slideout on a 2015 solaire 297?

there is a gear under the slide some units have a hole to slide the wrench "provided" in it and turn the crank when it starts moving if you have 2 holes on it most do you will have to move it in equally

Long slide will not retract

Make sure the parking brake is still on (on mine I have to put it on while the vehicle is running or the slides won't work) and the engine is running when you try to move it. If the motor runs it could be that the clutch is disengaged for some reason. You have to crawl under the slide out and move the lever to fix that. If the motor's not running then it's probably either a fuse or circuit board.

Why won't slideout retract?

check that both sides are moving evenly
from your statement only one side is moving and twisting the slides causing it to jam
if the action are screw threads , then it is possible that one side is not driving ( limit switch problem, no power etc)
If it is hydraulic check the ram operation on that side
(pin fallen out at end of ram)

Manuel operating slide out of jamboree 25k

Is the system electric or hydraulic? If electric, on the opposite side of the coach from the slide out there will be a place to insert a manual crank handle. It may be in a compartment or under the entry steps. It will be a hole about 1 to 1-1/2" in diameter. If you look inside you will see a solid shaft with a cross pin. You will slide the manual crank handle onto that shaft and begin to crank and the slide will either come in or go out depending on the direction you crank the handle.

Slideouts will not move

Hydraulic or electric slide system? If electric, could be a low voltage problem or failed inline circuit breaker. Also, do not try to move more than one slide at a time because it will blow the fuse. If hydraulic, make sure the bypass valves have not been opened. Do not add fluid while the slide are out. If you do, when the slide come back in they will force the excess fluid out of the reservoir and make a huge mess in the storage compartment.

Sometimes my slide out will not move out,try later and it does. The power cord is plugged in when I move slide out

There is an in line circuit breaker that controls the power for the slide. They are automatic resetting. Sounds like it is tripping but once it cools down it resets. They do get weak with age/use.
