LG SMB-007 SuperBlu firmware updates.

I own an LG SuperBlu player (model SMB-007) which has no USB port available (front or back) for firmware updates. There is a service port on the rear panel, however. Can I use this service port for firmware updates (and if so, how can it be used for this purpose) or is there some other way to update this unit?
