Takes great photos, feels good in the hand, easy controls after a bit of practice, nice balance, very good magnification, fast start-up,kind to batteries. One problem! I lost the lens cover, I bought a replacement with an elastic strap for $4.95! I am very happy with the camera!

Canon have normally really good cameras, but this one I like particularly. The quality is super good and the zoom is very good for micro pictures

I purchased my SX10 IS Xmas 2008 since then I have been on a variety of holidays, initially it seemed a little heavy (compared to my A95) but I now find that in its favour, helping to steady shooting. All the controls come readily to hand and photos are excellent. the video fantastic, response is quick, comfortable to hold. easy to use but read the instructions, it's amazing what it will do for you!20X "magnification is out of this world" you could even be arrested for spying!!! I LIKE IT.
