I actually have the Apple iPhone 3G S. It's a great phone and it does everything I need it to do. There are so many applications that you can download to make it even more robust. Some of my favorite iPhone apps are:
* Facebook iPhone App
* FourSquare
* Pandora
* Yelp
* Aardvark
* Things
* TweetDeck
* DropBox
* TripIt
* NPR News
* ZipCar
Make sure and get the Plastic Speck case for it in case you drop it since it is $799 to replace an iPhone if you are still in contract!

It is a very good phone. I used one until the 3gs came out, then upgraded for the faster processor. My wife and kids still use the 3g with good reports.

i had my techno(china phone) and is far much better than my new iphone 3g.the iphone has problems with blutooth and i can hear my own voice when calling,,,i was sooooo annoyed i crashed it against the wall last night and all the dollars i had spent just went like that.PLEASE BUY ANY OTHER PHONE NOT THE IPHONE 3G.My e-mail address is aaamuhia@yahoo.co.uk in case u wanna contact me.

I love the Apple iPhone 3G, with the one exception of the constant dropped calls and extreme lagginess. I think the 3G-S solves the lag problems, but I don't know what to do to solve the problem with the dropped calls

It's the ultimate gadget for all things, in my opinion.... Now if they would only make the damn accelerometer function globally as it ought to, intuitively, then I'd be happier still!!!
