Projection Television Question

Projection TV

Posted by anna14 on Apr 22, 2009

I have recently purchased a new home. It has been prewired for surround sound in three rooms, including the room where the main tv will be located. I am trying to decide on a high quality projection television (about 50"). I don't know anything about electronics. My budget is approximately $2,000. Any advice would be appreciated.

With your budget, you are looking at a CRT projection TV in 50". I think the DLP and LCD projectors (I just bought a Sony 50" Wega LCDP) have a better picture, but they cost considerably more. I would look at CNet reviews, especially the user reviews, and other forums; then go and look at the stores and see what looks good to you.
