How do I decide how to choose the best mp3 player?

I am trying to find an mp3 player and I know nothing about them. I mainly want one for music. I would like to transfer my old cd's onto it so which would be my best choice?

Buy The Insignia Pilot 8gb Its has bluetooth, Fm radio, will read sdhc cards for more memory up to 32gbs more, when Connected to the computer acts like a memory card. no need to synce and can still do much more

Cheaper than a ipod 50 to 80 dollors NEW
Plays MP4 videos and has more stuff
