I would suggest for a new rider to go out and find a used bike of smaller displacement(250cc) that is low priced. Then when you drop it and it is enevitable that you will drop it. It wont break the bank to have a few scratches. Good luck and have a great time learning.

you might wanna get a 250cc so you wont get hurt. My first bike was a 750cc and i fell on a turn by a bump and not having throttle control. throttle control is key. if u feel like u have it down go with a 600cc. A good bike that i will get is the new suzuki 600 they are the only bikes that have emergency lights and you have to hold the clutch to turn it on. I have an 02 750GSXR i love it.
