Korean/Japanese phone recommendations?

Hey everyone! My phone recently died, and I'm looking to replace it. A lot off my friends have Asian phones (I want one too!), and I heard that OK Cellular has a lot of cool ones that can be used with Verizon. Are there any models you'd recommend? Or should I just cancel my Verizon plan and go with a Korean plan instead? Which is cheaper? I'm on a family plan right now. Please help! Thank you in advance!

those korean phones...are so expensive..idk about the japenese phones but 2 of my friends got the korean phones including the korean alphabet for texting and it was like $500~$600(and it's not samsung, it's something else)
