WHIRLPOOL MAKES OTHER BRANDS

I really like the Whirlpool machines, but several years ago I replaced my Whirlpool dryer with an Estate brand which is made by Whirlpool. When my washing machine incurred expensive repairs, I found a Roper washing machine which matched the Estate by Whirlpool dryer exactly. The Roper was about half price of a Whirlpool and now I have a set which matches EXACTLY. As it turns out, Roper is owned by Whirlpool, so technically I have a matched set of Whirlpool washer and dryer for hundreds of dollars less. No problems with either unit so far.
