Do you recommend the Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top...?

Hose comes off and floods laundry room, makes towels and clothes smell even after using "smelly washer" treatments, and also seems to leave stains on clothes they didn't have BEFORE they were washed. HATE this thing.

I have had this washer since 2/2005 and I have had to replace the pump twice. Now, something else on it doesn't work. The repairman said he would have to order the parts. His suggestion was to buy a new machine, that the Calypso was notorious for problems. If I add up all the cost of the service calls, I've paid for the darn machine twice.

the absolute worse purchase of a washer I have ever made!!!!! I have had to take the entire tub assembly apart 3 times to rid the laundry room and washer of a foul mildew odor eminating from the washer and all its internal moving parts (i.e. underlid area, under agitator, under inside upper baffle ring, inside secondary tub as much as i can reach, and anywhere this gunk can build up inside the wash area). It's a real disgusting mess if you don't do this periodically. I had an old Kenmore washer for many years and never ever had this problem. I am going to buy the cheapest washer I can next time. All the claims of a better machine are hogwash. This machine is a piece or crp.
