I am using this router for more than 3 years for wifi access from my laptop and also from my Nokia E51 phone. Till now I have never faced a single issue. This is a very good router. But using a high range router will obviously help to maintain the signal strength over a long distance. At the same time a strong encryption mechanism will secure your router.

yes i do recommend you this router if you have 3-4 computer wired and wireless. it works great with small network
