Oké Taran, got some experiences with Dells.
Don't touch them.
1. too expensive.
2. too special.
3. 2 men job taking apart.
Go with some youtube demos how to built your own PC from a hardeware shop discount. I did 5 of those machines.

Hi,
I like astridprieto idea. All laptops are not satisfactory in all aspects.
Either go for dell, they have an option for you to select the parts you want like more ram and so on and its good or those who have no idea how to assemble but still know the specificatuons and have lot of money to spend...

Get none. Saves a lot. Need a PC take a desktop you can fix yourselves. Build one yourselves, you learn a lot.
In the field you won't need it really. A roll of kite string, swiss army knife, zippo lighter and possibly a slide rule make you more happy.
