cheap dvd player

I am buying a new tv and want to get a dvd player now. What is a good dvd player to get? I am looking for the cheapest reliable player that you know about.

I'll tell you what Ive learned about most electronics. They all be come out of date and worth nothing after 5-6 yrs.
DVD players are so cheap now that Blue Ray is taking over(hence statement above) you can pick up a descent Phillips, or Sony for 30-40 bucks anywhere, and they're good units!
otherwise go to a pawn shop and buy a $100 unit for like 30-40 bucks
