2001 Toyota Tacoma Recommendations

The Tacoma PreRunner returns this year with several styling revisions as well as option package changes. PreRunners feature the styling and chassis of the 4WD Tacomas in a 2WD powertrain setup. The SR5 Package is available in either color-keyed or chrome trim, and contains air conditioning, a tilt steering wheel, and an upgraded stereo system. The TRD Off-Road package includes off-road suspension, upgraded tires, and a locking rear differential. A four-wheel anti-lock braking system remains an extra-cost option on all models. A new option this year is the Stepside Package, which contains a stepside bed and color-keyed bumper caps. A new front appearance and a new four-door Double Cab model round out the changes.
