2001 Toyota Echo Recommendations

For the 2001 model year, the ECHO returns with minimal changes to the interior and exterior. The ECHO is available in two and four door models. It is powered by a 1.5L 108-hp four-cylinder engine. Coupled with a standard five-speed manual transmission, the ECHO offers 34 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. A four-speed automatic transmission is optional. Other available options include side impact air bags, anti-lock brakes, daytime running lights and upgradable sound options. Air conditioning, sport body cladding and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat are also available. Standard equipment includes a tilt steering wheel, multi-reflector headlamps, color-keyed bumpers, front disc brakes and rack and pinion steering.
