1998 Toyota Corolla Recommendations

Built exclusively in North America, the Toyota Corolla returns for the 1998 model year completely redesigned in the interior and exterior and equipped with an all-new powerplant. The Corollas new powerplant offers 15 more horsepower than its predecessor. This year three Corolla trim levels are available, the base level VE, the mid-line CE and the top-of-the-line fully equipped LE. Standard safety features include daytime running lamps with an auto/off feature, dual airbags and front and rear crumple zones. For the first time on Corolla models, side impact airbags are offered as available options. The Corolla also comes standard with power steering, a remote fuel-filler door release and a stainless steel exhaust system.
