1998 Hyundai Tiburon Recommendations

The 1998 Tiburon is available in two trim levels: Tiburon and Tiburon FX. Both models are equipped with the 2.0-liter, 140 horsepower Beta engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive. A 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission is an available option. The Tiburons are also equipped with rear 5-mph energy-absorbing bumpers, extra high strength steel side impact beams and supplemental dual air bags. Based on the HCD-II concept car, the side panels integrate frameless doors with flush mounted side glass and windshield for a clean, aerodynamic look. The roof pillars are designed in a slim fashion as to maximize the drivers field of vision offering 330 degrees of visibility from behind the wheel.
