1999 Saturn SC Recommendations

The Saturn SC coupes arrive this year with major enhancements. The change with significance involves improved noise/vibration of the engine. Many components are redesigned including longer power connecting metal rods, a new eight-counterweight crankshaft and a new piston design. These changes result in reduced sound levels and engine smoothness. More enhancements include a new seatbelt design and an improved EPA fuel economy. SC models with a five-speed transmission receive a two mpg improvement on the highway. ABS braking system with traction control remains optional. Vehicles produced before early November 1998 will be two door coupes. Vehicles produced after early November 1998 will be three door coupes with a drivers side access panel door.
