Product Details
Curtain side airbags are among previously optional features made standard for 2002 on Saturns midsize line. And added midyear was an optional rear-seat video entertainment system. The L-Series offers sedan and wagon body styles. Sedans come as L100, L200, and L300 models, the wagon as LW200 and LW300 models. All have Saturns dent- and rust-resistant polymer panels for front fenders, doors, and bumper fascias; other body parts are steel. The 100 and 200 models have a 4-cyl engine with manual or automatic transmission, the 300s a V6 with automatic. In addition to curtain side airbags, standard features now include traction control, ABS, and, on all but the L100, 4-wheel disc brakes. Newly available on 300 models are optional 16-inch chromed alloy wheels vs. the standard 15s. Other new options include a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, and, at midyear, an automatic climate system.
