Product Details
For 1997, the all-new CL coupe replaces the Legend coupe. The CL is designed specifically for the American market and is the first Acura to be designed, engineered and manufactured in the United States. The 2.2CL and 3.0CL feature engines with Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) for improved low-RPM torque, high RPM power and increased efficiency. Models with automatic transmissions feature electronically controlled hydraulic engine mounts to dampen engine vibrations. Automatic transmissions feature a Grade Logic Control System that reduces gear-hunting when driving on an incline. The 3.0CL features a power drivers seat with an Autoposition Stop feature. The seat will stop moving rearward if it senses an obstacle.
