Audi introduces the new 2001 allroad model this year. Offering a unique four-position variable height pneumatic suspension, the allroad is equipped with Audis quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. A 2.7L bi-turbo V-6 engine delivers 250 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A Tiptronic five-speed automatic transmission is optional. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, front and side impact airbags, SIDEGUARD curtain airbags, and an acoustic rear parking system. Rear seat-mounted side airbags are also available. Additional optional features include a Bose sound system, a glass sunroof, and 17-inch alloy wheels. A no-charge 4-year/50,000 mile maintenance program is standard.
