1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara Recommendations

For 1999, Suzuki introduces the all-new Grand Vitara to the small sport-utility vehicle market. The Grand Vitara is available in two models - JS 2WD and JLX 4WD. The most notable feature on the vehicles is a 2.5-liter V6 engine that puts out 155 hp and 160 lb.-ft. of torque. The Grand Vitara is the only vehicle in the small sport-utility vehicle market to offer a V6 engine. Standard features on both models include split folding rear seats, rear door child safety locks, Clarion AM/FM Cassette Stereo and 16 inch steel wheels. The JLX features a shift-on-the-fly 4WD that allows you to shift from 2WD to 4WD at any time below 62 mph and while traveling in a straight line. A Plus Package that contains aluminum alloy wheels and four wheel ABS is also available.
