1998 Ford F150 Regular Cab Recommendations

The F150 Regular Cab full size pick up is available in six models: Styleside (base), XL, and Flareside, in 2WD or 4WD. New for 1998, the F150 comes equipped with the new Twin Forged Short Long Arm suspension and is available with an optional Bi-fuel engine. New optional packages include the Pick Up Box Security Group, Electrical/Cooling Package, STX Package and the Snow Plow Preparation Package (which replaces the Heavy Duty Package from the previous year). The standard 4.2 liter engine has been improved with more horsepower and torque and all engines have a 100,000 mile tune up interval. New safety features include depowered air bags and a passenger side air bag deactivation switch which allows for use with a child seat.
