Product Details
For 1999, the Chevrolet Tracker has been completely redesigned. Some of the exterior styling changes include a lower roof line and sloping hood that helps improve aerodynamics. The 4WD models now provide shift-on-the-fly capabilities. The steering system changes to a power rack-and-pinion system. The four-door hardtops receive a new 2.0 liter 127 hp 4 cylinder engine that increases horsepower by 34%. The same engine can be had on the two-door models as an option. There are Preferred Equipment Groups that offer such amenities as air conditioning, an AM/FM ETR stereo with cassette, floor mats and 15-inch alloy wheels. The Convenience Package on the four-door models adds power door locks, windows and mirrors and a remote keyless entry system.
