2001 Dodge Durango Recommendations

For 2001, Dodge is offering a new high-performance R/T version of the mid-sized Durango sport utility vehicle. The Durango R/T has a higher-output 5.9 litre V8 engine with a reprogrammed engine control module. With 250 horsepower and 350 ft-lb. of torque, the 5.9 litre V8 engine is the largest and most powerful V8 in its class. Combined with a 3.92:1 rear axle ratio, limited slip rear differential and sport-tuned exhaust, the Durango R/T offers improved off-the-line acceleration.
